Sundarkand , the fifth Kanda of the Valmiki Ramayana, follows Hanumanji’s extraordinary journey to Lanka in search of Mata Sita. It captures his courage, intelligence, humility and unwavering commitment to Shri Ram as he crosses the ocean, finds Sita and carries out his mission. Its visual identity takes inspiration from the old Pandulipi style , reminiscent of traditional Indian manuscripts in which sacred texts were carefully preserved and passed from one generation to another. The handcrafted cover and thread binding add to this sense of an heirloom scripture. The cover is made from upcycled flowers once offered at Hanumanji temples , giving devotional offerings a new chapter. The transformation reflects the spirit of Sundarkand itself, where faith is not simply expressed, but carried forward through purposeful action.
